This month we got chance to run another Wildflowering Design Lab, hosted at UniSC. The workshop is facilitated by Dr Hope O’Chin AM, Dr Sue Davis OAM, Dr Lisa Chandler, Dr Grace Smith, me (obviously), and the Wildflowering Collective.

We engage the act of wildflowering ie. walking through place to observe the endemic flowers, then get to translate those observations through drawing and patterning. In the end the participants each have at lease one repeat pattern and a pocketful of knowledge that can add to their ongoing creative practices.

Each time we have run the Lab we have had incredible, encouraging, and collaborative students that each show joy, enthusiasm and collabrative learning in the process. Thank you to all those who joined in the journey.
